I’m an “MBA in Training”

An MBA is a prestigious qualification and having submitted my application form for the marketing course, I’m now officially an “MBA in training”.  This is something I plan to take full advantage of on my CV next time I enter the job market.

I chose Marketing as the first course (which is not quite the recommended order) because I found it would be most appropriate to my current business interest in my reasonably young startup, LeaveBooker.  I’m excited to see how I can apply what I learn to this real-world example.

I’m waiting for the website login credentials and the physical course materials.  Riverbend Learning, the company through which I’m doing the Edinburgh Business School (EBS) MBA, need to order this from Scotland so it may take a while.

My EBS Experience

Hi everyone.  This is my blog to describe my MBA experience through the Edinburgh Business School at Heriot-Watt University.  I hope that over time this will prove a useful resource for those looking to do the MBA through EBS.  Personally, I will be doing it by correspondence through Riverbend Learning in South Africa.
